The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) on behalf of the Office of Safety and Youth Development (OSYD) seeks proposals from organizations experienced in providing high-quality, direct support services to students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. Student support services supplement regular classroom instruction and may take place inside or outside of school during the school day, before/after school or non-school days.  Non-school days include weekends, summer break and school year vacation breaks. Services should provide students with a safe, engaging environment, opportunities for educational enrichment, and meaningful relationships with positive role models.  Student support services providers should implement programs in collaboration with NYCDOE schools and offices. Successful programs help students achieve positive academic outcomes, choose healthy lifestyles, increase self-confidence, and experience personal development and growth.
