The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), on behalf of the Office of School Wellness Programs (OSWP) is seeking proposals from organizations experienced and capable of providing new or existing supplemental wellness-related services or programs for students, staff, and families. These services or programs must align with the School Wellness Scorecard categories of Physical Education, Health Education, Physical Activity, School Environment, and Community Wellness Services, and build capacity within the school to ensure sustainability or efforts once programming concludes.
1) Physical Education Direct Student Support Services and Program Sustainability Development;
2) Health Education Direct Student Support Services and Program Sustainability Development;
3) Supplemental Health Ed-related and/or Physical Activity Wellness Programming Direct StudentServices and Program Sustainability Development;
4) Professional Development for School Staff Teaching Physical Education;
5) Professional Development for School Staff Teaching Health Education; and,
6) Professional Development for Whole School Community – Supplemental Health Ed, Physical Activity and/or Other.
