Description

Purpose of Procurement  Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide KSU Curriculum Software Purchase to the Kennesaw State University as further described in this eRFP.  Scope of Work ¿ Curriculum Software Purchase Project Background and Description  The Curriculum Support Office (CSO) at Kennesaw State University is seeking to upgrade its existing curriculum management and catalog publication application. This system is utilized campus-wide by faculty and academic administrators to propose, review, and approve changes to academic programs and courses, which are then reflected in the University catalogs and integrated with the student information system (SIS). The current platform, in use since 2015, lacks modern functionality and technological capabilities that could streamline and enhance the efficiency of KSU¿s increasingly complex curriculum processes. The University aims to implement a more robust, user-friendly, and future-ready solution that supports transparency, collaboration, and data integration across academic units.      Project Scope  The Curriculum Support Office (CSO) is seeking a modern, vendor-hosted, application that seamlessly integrates curriculum management and catalog publication within a unified system. This integration is essential to ensure efficient data transfer and consistency between curriculum proposals and published academic catalogs. The selected solution must be accessible to all faculty and staff across campus via a secure single sign-on (SSO) feature, promoting ease of use and broad adoption. Preference will be given to systems capable of interfacing with the University¿s student information systems (SIS), such as Banner or Workday, through push and/or pull functionality to support real-time data synchronization. The implementation timeline includes a development and configuration phase focused on building curriculum workflows and catalog structures, with full campus-wide adoption targeted for January 2027
