Description
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from quali¿ed vendors to provide ambulance billing, collection from insurance carriers, ¿nancial reporting, and analytical services related to EMS Transport Billing. This includes complete management of the billing process from patient transport to account closure.
Douglas County operates an EMS agency that utilizes seven (7) Advanced Life Support (ALS) transport units, up to ten (10) ALS Engines, three (3) quick response vehicles, and one (1) mental health response vehicle for the sole purpose of providing pre-hospital emergency medical care and patient transports.
