The New York State Department of Health intends to contract with the University of Chicago School of Medicine (UCSM) for Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment for New York (CANS-NY) Technical Assistance Institute Assignment C037332 for the term 1/1/2026 - 2/28/2027. A competitive procurement for this service was not feasible because effective January 1st, 2026, the Department seeks to assign this full scope of contract C037332 from University of Kentucky Research Foundation (UKRF) to UCSM, due to Dr. John Lyons, who holds the copyright of the CANS-NY Tool, transitioning from his role at UKRF to UCSM.
