Description: The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS)/Human Resources Administration (HRA) is seeking qualified contractors to operate and maintain emergency shelter beds for survivors of domestic violence (DV) through this open-ended Request for Proposals (RFP/RFx). The contractors will provide emergency housing and support services that will deescalate crisis, maximize economic stability, and build clients’ support systems. Such services include, but are not limited to: temporary shelter, resident needs-assessments, support in securing permanent housing, information and referrals, individual and group counseling, client advocacy, employment assistance, children’s services, first aid, emergency food, security, cleaning and maintenance. Services would be provided twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year.<br><br>Questions regarding this RFx must be transmitted in writing to the Agency Contact Person, Susan Jung at DVScontracts@hra.nyc.gov. Questions received prior to the Pre-Proposal Conference will be answered at the conference. Responses to questions addressed at the conference and those received subsequently will shared in an addendum through the PASSPort System.<p><br>To respond to this Human/Client Services RFx, organizations must have an account and an approved HHS Prequalification Application in PASSPort. Proposals and Prequalification applications will ONLY be accepted through PASSPort.
